Portrait Drawing Workshop

St. Gregory the Great Parish Center, 3rd Floor Artist-in-residence Sarah Crow will lead a portrait drawing workshop using pencil and paper and working from a live model. No previous experience necessary. REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS FULL. Contact Mark Franzen with any questions. *You can pay online or bring a check or cash to the class. Make checks payable to Mary, Mother of God Parish with "St. Gregory's Hall" in the memo line. All donations are used to cover program and staff-related expenses of St. Gregory's Hall. No funds are used for general Parish operating expenses. |
About the Instructor
Sarah Crow is a sacred artist who has mastered Baroque oil painting techniques (see her reproduction of Caravaggio’s Calling of Saint Matthew here). She is a former lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and currently the artist in residence at St. Gregory’s Hall where she maintains an active studio of both sacred art commissions and representational paintings.
