Chaste Heart of St. Joseph Painting Workshop

Picture
Saturday, March 14, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
St. Gregory the Great Parish Center, 3rd Floor

Celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph with artist-in-residence Sarah Crow with a one-day oil painting workshop. Participants will create their own image of the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph using traditional oil painting techniques.

Often associated with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the devotion celebrates St. Joseph's singular virtue as faithful husband to the Blessed Virgin Mary and foster father and protector of Jesus.

This workshop is open to all ages and skill-levels, though persons under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Participants are invited to bring their completed paintings to be blessed at our Choral Mass for St. Joseph on March 19.

$40 registration fee includes all materials. Register below by March 9.

*You can pay online or bring a check or cash to the workshop. Make checks payable to Mary, Mother of God Parish with "St. Gregory's Hall" in the memo line. All donations are used to cover program and staff-related expenses of St. Gregory's Hall. No funds are used for general Parish operating expenses.
