The Church Beautiful in Historic Edgewater

Saturday, June 13, 1-4PM
Meet your guide outside St Gregory the Great church, 5545 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60640

See Also: St Ita and St Thomas of Canterbury

We've partnered with our friends at Catholic Church Tours to provide this unique experience.
Take an afternoon to explore the architecture and Marian imagery of three unique Chicago churches within the Mary Mother of God Parish!

  • a 1916 colonial style Catholic church with unique shrines to martyrs of England and Vietnam.
  • a 1924 Norman Gothic church that incorporates masterful woodworking of early 20th century German artisans.
  • a 1927 French Gothic masterpiece- with it's undeniable Irish influence and broad expanse of historic events reflecting through thousands of pieces of carefully placed colored glass
