CONVIVIUM MARIANUM

A Prayerful Contemplation on the Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Scripture and Song
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14, 7:00PM
St. Gregory the Great Church
5545 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL

Join us for our fourth annual sacred music celebration and fundraiser. Convivium Marianum: A Prayerful Contemplation on the Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Scripture and Song is unique service that combines prayers and readings from the daily office of Marian feasts throughout the year with beautiful sacred music dedicated to the Mother of God.

This joyful evening helps us prepare for the coming of Christ on Christmas and reflect on the Blessed Virgin Mary’s role in salvation history.

Attendees enjoy singing familiar hymns and stunning choral works performed by a choir of over 40 professionals and volunteers under the direction of renowned church composer and conductor Kevin Allen.

This year's program will include works by Kevin Allen, Hans Leo Hassler, Gustav Holst, Johann Eccard, and well-known Marian hymns.

RSVP encouraged but not required. $20 suggested donation.

For questions about the event or information on joining the host committee, contact Mark Franzen by email or at 773-561-3546.
