Marian Advent Retreat and Art Workshop

• 10:30 a.m. PART 1: Meditation with Fr. Thomas Fetz, OFM Conv. on the Angelus and Marian hymnody in the church.
• 12:00 p.m.   A simple lunch in the parish center lower level. $10 suggested donation.
• 1:00 p.m.   PART 2: Illumination Workshop with Sarah Crow in the parish center 3rd floor studio. $50 materials fee.
• 5:00 p.m.   End​

Join us for a day of prayer, reflection, and creativity as we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary. Deepen your observance of Advent by contemplating Mary's role in salvation history as the Mother of God.

Workshop participants will create a 15th century Florentine-style illuminated letter "M" with Marian symbols using paint and shell gold. This illumination makes a great gift for Christmas!

This retreat is a great way to prepare for Convivium Marianum, our flagship sacred music event!
