Lenten Retreat on the Seven Sorrows of MarySaturday, March 29, 10AM-5PM
St. Gregory the Great Join us for a day of prayer, reflection, and art with a Lenten retreat on the Seven Sorrows of Mary, a beautiful devotion that originated in the 13th century. This devotion helps us to prepare for the Resurrection by meditating on Christ's life and passion through the eyes of His Blessed Mother, and by joining ourselves to Mary's suffering in order to be transformed in our faith. |
Participants in this retreat will:
- learn about the history and spirituality of the devotion, including the vision of St. Bridget of Sweden and the apparition of Our Lady of Kibeho.
