The Church Fathers on the Christian Life

Picture
September 26-November 14, 2022
St. Gregory the Great

“The Glory of God is man fully alive, but the life of man is the vision of God."
-  Saint Irenaeus of Lyons

In the first centuries of Christianity, the Church grew and developed amid external persecution and internal strife. The holy men and women called to live as the body of Christ and proclaim the good news also had to interpret the scriptures and answer fundamental questions about the nature of God; Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection; and how we should live in light of these things. Join Prof. Scott Moringiello to learn about the Church Fathers who were guided by the Holy Spirit to clarify the Christian message through preaching, teaching, and example.
