CANTERBURY HOUSE

Canterbury House is a ministry of Mary, Mother of God Parish based at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 4823 N Kenmore Ave.

We are a Eucharistic community focused on accompaniment and friendship with the poor through prayer, outreach and fellowship drawing on the heritage of Dorothy Day, Peter Maurin and the Catholic Worker movement and the Church's social teaching.

We build community through collaboration with the other parish outreach ministries, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and other local organizations.
