Sacred Art
From Dostoyevsky to Dorothy Day, it is a widely shared conviction in the Christian tradition that "beauty will save the world." The Church's sacred art and architecture glorify God and inspire us in ways that speak to the whole person: physical and spiritual, mind and heart, the senses and the soul.
Our program in sacred art makes use of these traditions and our exceptionally beautiful church to invite parishioners and others into an encounter with Christ and His Church. This includes art classes, workshops, and tours of our parish churches that explore various spiritual, theological, and aesthetic themes. |
