The Holy Night: Advent Sacred Art Workshop and RetreatIn this Advent Workshop with St Gregory’s Hall artist-in-residence Sarah Crow, participants will create a master copy of a Nativity oil painting by late Baroque artist Carlo Maratta (1625-1713), and enjoy opportunities for common prayer and recollection in St Gregory the Great Church.
This is a unique opportunity to learn Baroque oil painting techniques with one-on-one instruction from a professional artist and art educator, and to produce your own painting of the Holy Night in time for the Christmas season.
